3G: WCDMA 900/2100MHz Band 1/2/5/8
4G: FDD-LTE 800/1800/2100/2600MHz Band 1/3/7/20
Unlike the majority of handsets sold out of China the additional support for these bands will finally give support for great hardware specifications at great prices, where they would normally be left watching with jealous eyes, as European buyers get to take full advantage. Given that the price of Elephone P9000 is expected to be priced at just $299.99 when it officially goes on sale in December, we expect the handset to be quite popular amongst American and Canadian consumers who want flagship features but are unwilling to pay the huge premiums demanded by the likes of Apple or Samsung.
Many of the individual features to be found in the P9000 might be enough to compel users to forget about their currently owned device and switch, however as a total package it could turn out to be pretty irresistible. The Elephone P9000 is going to be running a Mediatek Helio P10, which from a price/performance aspect, offers a really good combination of power and affordability for the majority of smartphone users, Secondly, the handset features a Type-C USB port, which is able to deliver 10Gbps, twice the speed of USB 3.0 (5 Gbps).
The Elephone P9000 comes with a hefty 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, as well as the option for users to expand their existing storage with a MicroSD card (up to a limit of 128GB). The Elephone P9000 will be on sale in December making it one of just a very limited number of handsets actually running Android Marshmallow ‘out of the box’, this on its own may prove to be motivation for users that want a combination of not just powerful hardware but also the ability to run the latest and greatest operating system currently available from Google and the fact that the Elephone P9000 supports USA and Canada making it more of a total package.
